Khin Thandar Oo is single, a Buddhist and has High School education. She is the eldest and has 3 younger sisters; 2 of them are students. Her father is a farmer.

After her studies, she has been taking care of her frail grandmother and her younger sisters and also helped out with the household chores and on the farm. She decided to work hard in SG to support her family, thus taking up training seriously to prepare herself well for the work challenges ahead.

Khin Thandar, though a quiet person, is calm and attentive; thoughtful and sensible, who can look after the young and the old. She can cook simple Chinese food, and communicates in simple English. Though she cannot eat beef due to religion, she can handle it.

She is available for a transfer as her 93-year-old Ah Ma with severe dementia whom she has been caring was warded in a nursing home.
