Yamin Kay Khaing is single and has Secondary School education. She is a Buddhist and has 2 younger siblings who are students. Her father is a farmer.

Unable to further her studies due to financial constraints, she has to start working at a young age to help supplement her family's income and to enable her younger siblings to further their studies. After almost 9 years of working in Myanmar, she is worried that her meagre salary is insufficient for her family and her siblings' education, hence making a decisive step to work in SG.

Yamin is hardworking and energetic, keen to learn and is adaptable. Though young, she is sensible and thoughtful and has always wanted to give her family a better living condition. She is spirited and cheerful, kind and caring, can interact with the elderly and the young. She can speak simple English and is consistently learning to improve. She likes cooking too, and loves home pets.

She has been learning seriously in the training centre, and looking forward to start work in SG upon permit's approval.
